Abstract

There have been many efforts from previous studies trying to integrate Adobe Flash Professional CS6 into ethnomathematics-based mathematics learning media. However, there is still little research related to efforts to integrate Adobe Flash Professional CS6 into ethnomathematics-based learning media to improve students' understanding of mathematics. Therefore, this study aims to describe the process of integrating Adobe Flash Professional CS6 into ethnomathematics-based learning media and analyze the effectiveness of learning media to improve students' understanding of mathematics. This research is a Research and Development study using the ADDIE model involving 32 students at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta. The results of the study show that ethnomathematics-based learning media is very valid and significant to improve students' understanding of mathematics. From the learning media that has been developed, it can be an alternative source of learning mathematics for students, teachers, stakeholders, and the world of education to welcome innovative technology-based learning of mathematics. © 2024 Author(s).
