Abstract

Water is essential for humanity. The groundwater exploration was conducted to determine the potential shallow freshwater. This research aims to provide the water supply, especially for local people of Kedungadem city in Bojonegoro district of East Java, Indonesia. The 2D resistivity and remote sensing were used as a methodology to study the groundwater potential. The study area is located in Kedungadem city of Bojonegoro, where the selected resistivity sites are in Bunten, Tondumulo, and Lele. The configuration setting for the 2D resistivity method is a pole-dipole array, while for remote sensing, the satellite imagery used is Landsat 8. The integration of both methods indicates the high potential of groundwater occurs in Tondumulo and Lele, and as for Bunten, the potential of groundwater is low. © 2021, Books and Journals Private Ltd..
