Abstract
In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Zn(C5H 4NO4S)2(H2O)2], the 4-oxo-1,4-dihydro-pyridine-3-sulfonate anion chelates to water-coordinated zinc centres through the carbonyl O atom and through one O atom of the sulfonate group. The ZnII atom lies on a center of inversion, and adjacent mol-ecules are linked by N- H⋯O and O- H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.
