This paper presents the experimental assessment of corroded reinforced concrete beams using the acoustic emission technique after load testing using the tomography technique. The impressed current technique for accelerating the corrosion of RC beams was used with corrosion levels of 0, 4.55, 16.86, and 32.37 , respectively. The tomography technique was employed for assessing the corrosion damage after load testing. Tomography results depicted that the elastic velocity decreased when the corrosion level increased. It revealed that the condition of the RC beams was severely damaged. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
