Abstract

This article studies the trends of academic publications on big data focusing on Southeast Asian countries. The study uses bibliometric indicators to study the pattern of publication in Scopus and Web of Science. The researcher develops a specific search string to run the data in both databases. The data found based on the information search in Scopus and Web of Science were analyzed. The list of top countries, types of documents, top subject areas, sources of the document, and funding information were listed.
