Abstract

The role of fog computing is to lessen the burden of Cloud and device computing. The purpose of this project is to solve the energy consumption and latency issues in the IoT 6G device as well as propose an approach to match the fog nodes with the IoT devices in task-offloading. This project implemented the Gale Shapley Stable Marriage Matching Game with a task-offloading energy efficiency technique. One-to-one matching is applied, in four fog nodes and four IoT devices according to the size of the task in IoT devices and energy in fog nodes. Simulation results prove that the proposed approach improves energy consumption and latency by 36.15 and 37.5 respectively. © 2024, Semarak Ilmu Publishing. All rights reserved.
