Since the global network continues to grow at a fast pace, the concept of ``networks on demand'' is getting more and more popular in network management and operation. However, the education resources of SDN and BGP are limited in schools of developing countries, and there is difficulty on building an environment for experiencing SDN and/or BGP tutorials with internet concepts. To overcome above issues and encourage more students to explore network innovation after graduation, this paper introduced a testbed development project founded by ISIF Asia/APNIC Foundation which focusing on building a SDN-based internet exchange playground for offering related knowledge and practice. It aims to provide a prototyping, small-scale, IPv6, and SDN-enabled BGP environment to support training and research activities for East/South-east Asia teachers and students, trying to satisfy more educational, practical, and innovative research purposes of the community.
