Abstract

A collection of Malay manuscripts and early imprints is available at the Houghton Library, Harvard. These items were acquired during the days of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions in Singapore. The collection should, due to early provenance, serve as an important source for the study of Malay literary history and printing.
